The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between employee empowerment and job satisfaction in Movit Products Limited. The study was guided by three objectives namely to establish the relationship between; (1) human resource development practices, (2) delegation and (3) promotion and job satisfaction. A co-relational research design was employed. A sample of 45 employees participated in the study by answering the questionnaires and interview guides. Frequencies and percentages were used to show the distribution of respondents on different items. Pearson’s Linear Correlational Coefficient (r) was used to the level of correlation between the variables. The study findings showed that (i) human resource development practices, (ii) delegation and (iii) promotion have a positive relationship with employee job satisfaction in the said company. The researcher concluded that there is a positive relationship between (i) human resource development practices (e.g. training, workshops, and conferences) (ii) delegation (e.g. assignment of duties, granting authority, directing and mentoring) and (iii) promotion (e.g. seniority and merit promotion) and job satisfaction. Researcher therefore, recommended that (i) Movit administrators and managers should provide training opportunities to their employees to enhance job satisfaction, (ii) There is need to delegate duties to employees as a way of enhancing job satisfaction and (iii) Movit administrators and managers should put in place clear promotional polices to enhance job satisfaction.en_US
