dc.description.abstract | The study addressed the knoweldge, attitudes and practices about convulsions among carers of children presenting to Mulago Acute care unit. Information gathered would be of use in improving management of convulsions among children. Where as most of the information from previous studies is about Epilepsy and Febrile convulsions, this study considered convulsions in general and is the first in the child emergency unit. It was a descriptive cross sectional study using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Data was collected using a pre-tested questionaire and Focus group Discussions. | en_US |
