    Abstract
The Flute Boy was made by Prof. Nnagenda in 2000. Material: Wood carving with metallic protection Context: The flute boy is a sequel to the war victim. Amin opened the economic war and open spaces previously occupied by Whites. The flute boy is young and healthy representing a new born and thriving nation to the extent that one can play the flute. The flute boy is wrapped in metal with the symbolism of protection. It is made in wood but with metal and this was during the late University Librarian, Mr. Mugasha’s time (1981-2004).
