Computerized Information Systems are fast becoming quos between flourishing and growing organizations today. In fact, information technology is one of the faster growing industries in the world today. In the business world, computerized systems are no longer a luxury but rather a necessary that no foresighted organization can afford to do without. The purpose of this project was to analyze how best information technology can be used to aid growing health club originations. From the research carried out through methods such as interviews and observations, the current system used involved a lot of paper work, which took up a lot of storage space. It was also a very tiring system for the health club manager who had to manually go through all this paper work to approve or reject applications, assign member id’s to approved subscribers and also keep checking for expiration dates. This project was aimed at designing, developing and implementing a computerized subscription system that stores member’s information and sends reminders of the membership expiration dates to their email addresses.en_US
