dc.description.abstractvii 99.20 , 98.50 and 98.57 among males, females and the whole study population respectively. The sample had a median sacral index of 97.26mm for the entire sample. There was no statistically significant sex difference in the sacral lengths (p=0.45) , widths (p=0.51) and sacral index (p=0.83) . Conclusion: The Gallowa y osteological collection shows some unique morphologic and morphometric chara cteristics that may be applicable in forensic anthropology and in clinical practice. The morphome tric findings in this study are more similar to the findings in the Egyptian and American population s studies than to the Kenyan population study . The morphologic findings are mostly similar to other studies as well, with certain unique values in presence of cornua and number of sacra with absent /closed hiatus. Recommendations: Futur e studies and clinicians should take the findings of this study into consideration when studying or working on the sacra in the populations represented by the Galloway osteological collection .en_US
