The purpose of the study was to examine the effectiveness of service delivery in Sembabule District. The research objectives were (1) To evaluate the effectiveness of health service delivery in Sembabule District (2) To evaluate the effectiveness of water and sanitation service delivery (3) To evaluate the effectiveness of education service delivery in Sembabule District. The study employed the descriptive cross sectional survey design and quantitative approach. Simple random sampling was used to select respondents from each selected sample from each category of the respondents. The study adopted self-administered questionnaire. The findings revealed that service delivery in Sembabule District is still inadequate in all aspects of health, education and water and sanitation. The study, therefore recommends that Sembabule should put more emphasize on service delivery than other areas. The District should increase its annual budget to cater for service delivery in the areas of health, water and sanitation and education. The district should also train its people on how to utilize the services provided to them.en_US
