This study used tine series data for the period of 1990 to 2020 for all variables in the study. The study used secondary data from World Bank Development Indicators. The results of the study showed that there is significant positive relationship between Somalia’s annual growth (GDP) and fish production at 5 percent level of significance with the p-value (0.000). The study results further show that on average, a unit increase in the fish production leads to 6.914 increase in the Somalia’s annual growth (GDP) when the other independent variables are held constant. The study recommended to government coming up and implementing programs to provide security on its water bodies so as to encourage fishermen to participate in commercial fishing. en_US
