    Abstract
    This was a private project that was initiated with the aim of improving the facilities at Oasis mall to high standard supermarket with international standards and aiming at a profit-making venture. Following the same model with which they have developed several other properties around East Africa and Africa at large, the developer’s intention was to create high standard super market or shopping area, targeting a platinum class clientele. The project comprised of civil works that were done by Seyani Brothers Ltd who were the main contractors. The electrical services which included, the electrical installations, fire detection works, CCTV cameras, Public address systems, Voice and data among others. These were done by Mehta electricals (U) Ltd where the author is part.
