Abstract
Law Development Centre is the employer/client for the proposed contract for design and
construction supervision of Multi-purpose office block at the centre.
LDC-Kampala, the centre for professional and legal training is being faced with inadequate
teaching and non-teaching space due to an increase in enrolment volumes for the past years
which is anticipated to multiply further in the coming years. This is due to the quality of its
academic programs and services offered to the public.
In spite of the increased enrolment and expansion of its curricular programs, no new
permanent structures or buildings have been put up to accommodate administrative services
and other supporting instructional facilities like modern court rooms and lecture rooms and
lecture halls.

academic and administrative structure which will provide better accessibility and a more
conducive atmosphere to serve the staff and students while enhancing the impressive outlook
of an institution of higher learning.

construction supervision of a Multi-Purpose Office Building, To realize this, the LDC
engaged Oubuntu Consulting for Construction Supervision of the completion of the new
office block.
