dc.description.abstractThis was an experiential report which included activities and the management related issues undertaken by the Contractor and the Consultant from 15th September 2014 to 31st January 2018 on Musita - Lumino/Busia Upgrading project. Permanent works commenced, therefore, overall physical progress of the works at the time of reporting, with respect to the revised programme - Rev 2 (as received from the contractor), was 21.62% against 50%, resulting into a slippage -28.38%. This section covers measures and methods which the Contactor has put in to ensure Occupational health and safety (OHS), to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and to endure employment opportunities for both male and female as well as addressing their gender specific needs. The report includes the Introduction, Practical works done; Construction management related issues; Challenges and lessons learnt, conclusion and recommendations.en_US
