    Abstract
This report describes construction and supervision of civil works on classroom blocks and administration blocks at Lubumba and Kawumulo primary school in Mubende District. This Project was funded by the World Bank through the Ministry of Education and Spots. The contractor was EGGIS engineering contractors Limited of P.O Box, 72589 Kampala. The contractor was supervised by Mubende District Local government on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Spots. The scope of works included construction of classroom blocks, administration blocks, and lined VIP pit latrines at the two schools. The report further analyses the process of procurement through which the contractor was procured to that effect. The objective of the Project is outlined and the project justification, why it was necessary to be undertaken it. It explains the measures that were put in place to control the quality of the work. The report considered the project inception and its implementation, the stages involved up to the completion are highlighted and the different activities that were performed until the structures were completed. Challenges that were encountered while Mubende district in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and Sports was carrying out this project, like delay to pay the contractor which resulted into extension of the project for one month. The report basically contains findings related to how these facilities come to be constructed, the role played by Global Partnership for Education(GPE) and its relationship with Uganda teachers and Schools Project (UTSEP). The report therefore intended to summarize and cover theoretical and practical aspects that I have been able to learn and cover both theoretically and practically during this period of the report. It includes ideas, concepts and aspects learned in the field closely related with project construction management and administration.
