Abstract
Domestic violence victims are unlikely to make contraception choices [1], may have unplanned unwanted pregnancies [2], and thus resort to abortion [1,2]. Probably, many women with abortion complications are victims. The objective is to determine the prevalence, severity and factors associated with domestic violence among such
women. This cross-sectional study was conducted in the gynecological emergency ward of the national referral hospital, Mulago, with permission from the hospital’s Ethical Committee.
