dc.description.abstract Employee engagement practices and Employee performance are vital conduits through which services are delivered to masses. This desk research study explored how employee engagement practices influence employee performance in organisations, which focused on blending the existing literature from academic databases, peer-reviewed journals and reputable sources published between 2013 to 2023. This research methodology employed a systematic desk research approach, analyzing empirical studies, theoretical frameworks and case studies to identify key themes and findings related to employee engagement practices. Particularly, the study examined how employee engagement practices like positive work environment, recognition and rewards, feedback and communication, career development, team building and social activities empowerment and transparency among others do influence employee performance. The study is based on professional ethical and moral rights. In conclusion, study's results will offer policymakers an insight into how crucial employee engagement practices are in reaching organizational objectives.
