dc.description.abstract The study sought to examine the extent to which gender concerns were incorporated in the implementation of humanitarian programmes for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Lira district, Northern Uganda. The study focused on women’s participation in reproductive health (family planning) and food aid programmes. The study as well identified the constraints at household and community levels and the mechanisms that IDPs devise to cope with the situation. en_US
