dc.description.abstract This paper aims at making contributions to the literature about the mediation of Knowledge Management and examining the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, Stakeholder engagement and Project Performance. Many NAADS projects frequently fail to perform as justified by detrimental effects of quality, overrun time, wrong specifications, budget overrun and overstretched costs despite Government financial support and continuous implementation of capacity building strategies. Despite previous contributions, no existing studies have attempted to develop a mediation model of Knowledge management which remains anecdotal. Primary data was obtained using administered questionnaires from 342 NAADS projects in Mukono and Wakiso districts. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were used in the analysis using Statistical package for social scientists. The empirical findings reveal that there is a significant partial mediation of Knowledge management on the relationships between Stakeholder engagement, Entrepreneurial orientation and Project Performance. The findings also indicate significant positive relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, stakeholder engagement and Project Performance. The findings largely conform to theory and corroborate evidence from prior studies. This paper makes it a contribution by providing information that is relevant for filling the practical gap that exists in Ugandan NAADS projects on emphasizing that Knowledge management is an essential internal and an external intangible asset to the project’s success and sustainable performance. Key Words: project performance, Knowledge management, Stakeholder engagement and Entrepreneurial orientation. en_US
