dc.description.abstract This study explored the management challenges facing the social Integration of Students at the Islamic University in Uganda. The specific objectives of the study were (1) to examine the problems facing the organization of students’ leadership, (2) to identify the problems facing the coordination of students’ religious practices, and (3) to establish the problems facing control of students’ gender interaction at Islamic University in Uganda. The study was prompted by continued complaints from non-Muslim students about the way in which they were treated with regard to their participation in students’ leadership. A descriptive cross-sectional survey design was used to collect data during the study. The findings of the study were; there are serious challenges facing the organization of students’ leadership, and control of students’ gender interaction at the Islamic University in Uganda; however, there was no problem in the coordination of students’ religious practices at the Islamic University in Uganda. The conclusions of the study were; (i) there were no problems in the organization of student’s leadership, and students’ religious practices but there was a problem in the control of gender interaction. The following were the recommendations; (1) the administration should make a policy of nurturing core values for the establishment of the university into all students and the public at large, (2) the administration should formalize the worshiping policy at the Islamic university in Uganda that suites both Muslim and non-Muslim students at the campus, (3) the administration should sensitize the students on the policy at the Islamic university in Uganda regarding the dressing code and social behaviour. en_US
