This song is sung to accompany the Enjogyere dance performed by the Banyankore women.
Description
This is a song which accompanies the enjogyera dance performed by the Banyankore women. The lyrics instruct the women to perform particular motifs like "okwara emigongo" (laying their backs), okwiiha obunyatsi ( uprooting grass to be used as amat). It is performed at weddings and beer parties.
